イッカン・アート・ギャラリー（シンガポール）にて、『流れる光、移ろう光景』展が開催。チームラボは、新作「花と人、コントロールできないけれども、共に生きる - Dark」を発表。期間は2015年1月22日（木）～2月18日（水）まで。
また、2015年1月25日（日）に行われるアーティストトークに、チームラボ猪子が参加します。

この作品は、鏡通路と広い空間により構成された、インスタレーション作品である。作品の花々は、鏡の中、そして、広い空間の壁と床に咲き渡っていく。

作品は、コンピュータプログラムによってリアルタイムで描かれ続けている。あらかじめ記録された映像を再生しているわけではない。
花は、生まれ、成長し、つぼみをつけ、花を咲かせ、やがて、散り、枯れて、死んでいく。つまり、花は、誕生と死滅を、永遠 と繰り返し続ける。
花は、鑑賞者のふるまいによって、いっせいに散り、死んでいったり、もしくは、より生まれ、いっせいに咲き渡ったりする。
全体として、以前の状態が複製されることなく、鑑賞者のふるまいの影響を受けながら、永遠と変容し続ける。
今この瞬間の絵は、2度と見ることができない。

teamLab will be presenting its new work, "Flowers and People, Cannot be Controlled but Live Together – Dark" at Ikkan Art Gallery's "Moving Light, Roving Sight" exhibition in Singapore. The installation will be on display from January 22 to February, 2015.

Toshiyuki Inoko, the founder of teamLab, will also be giving an artist talk on January 25, 2015.

Flowers and People, Cannot be Controlled but Live Together – Dark

This work, composed by a mirror passage and a large space, is an interactive installation work that depicts flowers blooming in an infinitely expanding space.

Neither a pre-recorded animation nor on loop, the work is being rendered in real time by a computer program. The flowers spring up, grow, bud and blossom before their petals begin withering, and the flowers eventually fade away. The cycle of growth and decay repeats itself in perpetuity. The viewer’s behavior (standing still in front of a wall or touching the wall) affects the cycle, causing the flowers to either spring up and blossom, or scatter, wither and die. The interaction between the viewer and the installation causes continuous change in the artwork; previous visual states can never be replicated, and will never reoccur. What you can see right now will never be repeated again in the future.
